Aquaman – Volume 1, The Trench
Not a traditional consumer of comicbooks I decided that I would embrace by getting started with the newly re-tuned Aquaman. I enjoyed it. The artwork is excellent and the storyline absorbs all the mockery that haters have lobbed onto this character. In this incarnation he appears to have a lifemate named Mera. She’s having issues with the tonnage of disrespect humans lather on Aquaman. Artwork on the denizens from the trench is fantastic. As Jason Momoa prepares to bring this character to life on the big screen I am delighted that Marvel will have some gritty competition and not suck down all the theater dollars for the next decade. This re-tuned Aquaman seems to be a bad ass. Make it so!
Momoa gives Cinemablend an interview.
