Cassidy Jones and Vulcan’s Gift

A YA novel with Cassidy being a middle teen who has mutant capabilities. In this second installment of the series she is trying to adjust to her new situation without endangering herself or her loved ones. Along the way she finds herself battling for the greater good of human-kind, a species that she no longer feels she is a member.
The book was well written and even gives her a love interest in a “Doogie Houser” style character and some other guy she feels is…hot. Yes, wouldn’t be a YA mutant saves the world…okay, just Seattle…story without that.
I thought it was fun and I enjoyed Cassidy’s character. I give it four out of five units of satisfaction.
