If you like the television series Supernatural and old school such as the X-Files you will enjoy this book for its plot, similarities and blending of preternatural characters. An FBI agent has had her own brush with the paranormal and it has left her able to have visions. She becomes a private detective because her peers at the bureau would never understand or tolerate her aberrant talent.
Ex-agent Diggs, private detective, falls into a dimension crossing adventure involving incubi, genetically engineered humans, were-beings, romance and loss. It is a very well done story in this genre. As some one who does not usually seek out this type of story even I am giving it three out of five units of satisfaction.
