The Dragon Dimension: Caught in the Dragon Cove
by Ressa Empbra
Iax is very entertaining as a protagonist who is for all intents and purposes out of her element. If it were not for her guide-conscience-companion Gemma she would have been many times over. Then the hormones kicked in and what remains of sanity grabbed it’s hat off the rack before pushing the emergency exit door.
A fun work to read it has a bit of a ‘Hell-Boy’ feel to it as you discover Iax is not from Earth to begin with, at least not the one in this dimension. Though she is competent to the point of over confidence in most things she does both on Earth and in other dimensions she still has a magnet inside tilting her decision-making toward poor choices.
Editing was good but I found the slang the main character used kind of over done. Three out of five units of satisfaction.
