Soul Sisters
by Janiera Eldridge
A newer take on the vampire lore finds two sisters, one that was born of human mother and a second, identical, born of a sacrificial deal with an ancient vampire. The vampires have much of the strengths and weaknesses of the trope as they navigate modern society and their own internal politics. Another perk of this story is that it explores mental illness in these immortal creatures. This is a more grown up work of vampirism that I enjoyed and recommend.
